A banda punk inglesa Chron Gen foi formada em janeiro de 78, em Letchwoth, Herts, com a fusão de duas bandas, The Condemned e Optional Xtras.
A primeira gravação da banda veio apenas em 81, o EP "Puppets of War". Com o sucesso do mesmo, foram convidados a participar da "Apocalypse tour" ao lado de Exploited, Discharge, Anti-Pasti e Anti-nowhere league.
Lançaram o primeiro LP em 82, "Chronic Generation". Este best of inclui o primeiro álbum da banda, alguns EPs e gravações ao vivo.

Many thanks, but there are sound problems with tracks 20 and 22. The sound on track 22 in particular is badly distorted. Could you please check and re-post these two tracks?
